WHAT WE SAY
JERKA is a new solo project of Malmö DIY musician Jesper Pettersson, mostly known as the brain behind and front figure of indie punk band Gula Blend. On his Swedish/English solo project, the nerve and genuine feeling from Gula Blend remains as well as Pettersson’s signature simple but compelling storytelling, but is put in a more intimate setting though not sparing any energy. To us, Jesper has quickly become not just one of our beloved acts but also a very good friend and we’re so happy to be releasing another great project from him. Jesper’s one of the most productive artists we’ve encountered with, so expect a lot of good music.
